Flooding across Nepal in August 2017 have left 75,000 families affected, with over 7,000 now without a place to live. This follows from disasters in recent times, with a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Nepal on Saturday, 25 April 2015. Habitat for Humanity New Zealand is a part of the international Habitat for Humanity response to the earthquakes, and more recent floods, partnering with the Nepalese people as we work to rebuild hope and homes in their communities. We’re grateful to our supporters and partners who give generously to the Habitat disaster response fund. The more funds we raise, the more families we can help.
